We are excited to announce that Leadership High School will be merging with City Arts & Technology High School in the Fall of 2022, bringing together two strong communities to better serve our students. We will be temporarily operating under the name City Arts & Leadership High School. We are #StrongerTogether.
Next year’s freshman class will be located at 350 Seneca Avenue. If you would like more information about the merger please see our City Arts & Leadership Announcement.
We will continue to be a public, tuition-free charter school. All students are welcome to apply. In the case that there are more applicants than spaces available, students are admitted through a random lottery with preference given to siblings.
Please note that students cannot apply to City Arts & Leadership High School through the San Francisco Unified School District. Families wishing to apply must submit an application directly to City Arts & Leadership through either school’s website and follow our enrollment process.
We are pleased to be able to offer in-person tours for prospective freshmen families.
During your tour, you will have the opportunity to hear from school administrators and visit several classrooms.
Tours will be held Wednesday mornings from 8:45-9:45am. Spaces and tickets are limited to only vaccinated parents/guardians and students and only 2 tickets per family. Please click go to Eventbrite to reserve your tickets.
Please join us at one of our Informational Sessions to learn more about our school and get your questions answered! Please RSVP with this link. All Informational Sessions will be held virtually via Zoom, from 6-7pm.

Prospective Transfer Students
Leadership accepts transfer applications throughout the year. Transfer students are considered on a case-by-case basis for enrollment, depending on whether the courses a student needs to be on track for graduation have space. Toward its graduation requirements, Leadership accepts transfer credit for courses with grades of C minus or better taken at other accredited high schools.
Students who submit applications will be admitted as space becomes available, in the order that their application was received.
